A psychic finds herself tapping into the "energy" of a deceased phone operator. She also finds that her friends soon begin dying mysteriously. An investigator determines to track down the cause.
You'd think this would be some sort of sleazy call girl erotic thriller based off that cover and title. It's Ruggero Deodato though and you never know what you're going to get because Dial: Help is like some sort of horny ghost spirit stalking a woman through phones. Anytime someone gives her trouble or makes any sort of move on her- they're done for. Ended up be a fairly tame watch for Deodato standards, even his killer washing machine film was nastier than this. Has a similar vibe to something of a Dario Argento product, perhaps thanks to the rocking score from Claudio Simonetti. Most of the kills are gnarly and there are a couple erotic scenes of Charlotte Lewis rolling around that'll make you chuckle, one being Lewis in some sort of trance going into orgasm because she's holding a phone or some shit. Plenty of nonsensical hazy weirdness to come out enjoying.
