Curious George 2: Follow That Monkey! is a sweet sequel that totally deserves a 5/5 if you're in it for wholesome fun and lighthearted adventure. George is as curious and lovable as ever, and this time he’s on a cross-country mission to help an elephant named Kayla reunite with her family. The story is simple but heartwarming, and the animation—while not flashy—is bright and cheerful, perfect for younger viewers. The voice cast brings charm (Tim Curry and Jerry Lewis are fun surprises), and the soundtrack by Carbon Leaf adds a nice touch of energy. It might not hit the same nostalgic notes as the first movie, but it’s got plenty of heart and laughs to keep the good vibes going.
