The Island

The Island
In 2019, Lincoln Six-Echo is a resident of a seemingly "Utopian" but contained facility. Like all of the inhabitants of this carefully-controlled environment, Lincoln hopes to be chosen to go to The Island — reportedly the last uncontaminated location on the planet. But Lincoln soon discovers that everything about his existence is a lie.

Cinematically, fine.
Story basis, tacky and patchy.
*spoiler alert*
Such as, if there was the technology to form an entire human body from scratch, then there would already be a way to just form an organ instead. And also, surely a clone would also be affected with the same ailments as the sick client, thus totally pointless. And if that read as too far fetched, then if the possibility of the clone gaining memory the clone never experienced that would also mean the possibility of gaining the same sickness as the affected client (in the realms of sci-fi logistics of 'anything being possible' then that means anything).
But might want to skip over the part that a guy prized his 1/2million car over a 5million clone of himself 😅 weird.
