Classic story of shark eats girl, shark eats boy. Town ignores problem, shark eats more. Now it’s up to a cop who's afraid of the water, a daring marine biologist, and a crusty old sailor with a traumatic past to take it down with a jenky boat and some scuba gear. Spielberg builds the tension slow, but once those two unforgettable notes from John Williams' score drop, it’s on. Five stars, obviously.
