I really loved this and the manner in which this drama unfolds. A family has their holiday cut short when a death in the family has them flying back home to London. But a lost passport has Neill (Tim Roth) forced to stay behind and we’re left to witness Neill’s peculiar escapades while alone abroad in Mexico.
Even though some of the twists and turns this takes are purely for the audience, (like when information is revealed to the audience for dramatic effect, but some or all of the characters already in the film already have this information), I really enjoy the way our feelings about Neill’s actions are constantly shifting all the way up until the final reveal when we actually see the whole picture. Highly recommend.
