The Last of Us Season 2 premiere, Future Days, delivers a grounded yet intense experience that echoes the haunting atmosphere of Event Horizon (1997). While one explores the unknown horrors of space and the other the emotional fallout in a post-pandemic world, both are masterful in building tension and exploring the weight of past trauma. Distinct in setting but similar in tone, Future Days stands confidently alongside Event Horizon (1997) as a compelling blend of suspense and storytelling.
