"Shanty Tramp" is a dramatic film that unabashedly showcases themes of racism, religious deception, and the sexual exploits of its main character. Its approach is deliberately sensational, aiming to evoke shock and surprise from the viewers. Compared with the standard cinematic offerings of 1967, this film certainly comes from a different place.
