This movie is actually a pre-sequel to the 2007 the Messengers movie. Technically this movie should be watched first before the other one. In this movie it reveals all the events that took place pryer to the first Messengers movie events. The 2007 Messengers starts off with it showing the wife and son of this Messengers movie getting attacked by a unseen force. That force is obviously the evil that dwells within the scarecrow. This movie is worth the watch just like the first one.
