You know the ‘51 remake is good but holly hell this remake of Fritz Lang’s M is the absolute best. Every shot could be printed, framed and hung on a wall. It’s of course creepy and noir, but I didn’t expect the night club scenes to be so sexy. Young film makers need to watch this not tired-ass Batman stuff to understand noir. While the music is all off, camera rivals and mostly tops all US noir as far as looks.
