A transcontinental flight from Los Angeles to Washington DC, carrying three top scientists, unexplainedly begins a climb to 10 miles up. With all other passengers unconscious, the scientists find themselves in a dimension where time does not exist. There they are put on trial by denizens of the future for their potential involvement in the creation of "the ultimate weapon."

Not bad for its genre, a 1950s-1960s sci-fi B-movie, this film seeks to teach humanity a lesson about the nuclear age at the height of the Cold War. It's mysterious plot kept my interest throughout most of the film, however (spoiler alert) the balloon of suspense is prematurely popped by a sage from the future rendering previous events irrelevant except for their message within. It would have worked well as a "Twilight Zone" episode, but as full length movie, I was left leaving the table still a little hungry.
