I'll state up front that I found the movie entertaining and I didn't feel like I wasted my time watching the movie. That said, the underlying "get a bunch of big action stars together in the same movie" premise probably should have stopped after the first film. The action itself is solid, if predictable, with some nice set pieces. The special effects aren't outright bad, but they're also pretty obvious and do stand out. Jason Statham is clearly the main character in this outing, with much of the film focusing almost solely on him, which is a bit odd for a franchise built upon that idea of getting as many action stars together as you can. But Statham does well with the material he's given here. It's an adequate action movie, but you can certainly find much better ones out there.
