After Val Kilmer’s recent passing, I decided to revisit some of this great actor previous roles and started off with Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. He was fantastic in this film with his dry wit and humour, adding some hilarious scenes playing as a gay detective.
It had been years since I last watched this movie and forgot what a truly entertaining film this was. My kind of dark comedy. It was well written, with tons of funny scenes, fast paced and action-packed. I simply loved the sarcasm and humorous one-liners used throughout the movie.
Overall this was a quirky, very amusing film, with a superb cast who clicks together perfectly. Given its shortish run time of 99 minutes, you simply can’t afford to miss it.
I don’t want to go to much into the story but I strongly recommend this movie, given the talent of Downey and Kilmer and the great chemistry between them. Worth seeing just for Val Kilmer’s Gay Perry!
