Best family Christmas movie in a long time, seriously I am unsure of why the critics didn't like it. This isn't winning awards but it was fun (like most Dwayne Johnson movies) with some clever humor, albeit usually juvenile in nature and solid action. It had a great storyline and wasn't to extreme to not let pre-teens to watch it (despite the PG-13 rating). My kids (10 year old b/g twins) loved every minute of it and it meant I didn't have to watch The Grinch for the 337 time.
Again, this is a family friendly action movie, don't expect the world and you will be pleasantly surprised by this one!
