Sidney Prescott, now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey and Gale, who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill and her Aunt Kate. Unfortunately, Sidney's appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger.

Still fun. Did not remember half the cast and cameos that were in this, so that’s always a nice surprise. Alison Brie, Kristen Bell, Anna Paquin, Anthony Anderson. You definitely feel the premise being stretched to the limit in this one. The fact that everyone in this world is 1000% committed to the fact that these real life murders have to somehow adhere to the rules of a horror franchise. Didn’t care much for the killer or their motive this time around. Still has some pretty brutal knife kills.
