Possessor kicks off with a sharp concept and some brutal, memorable scenes. The idea of body-hopping assassins is rich with potential. Sadly, it loses momentum pretty quick. The pacing slows, and the film gets bogged down in drawn-out filler. What starts as a tight psychological sci-fi become boring pretty fast.
By the end, even the strong finish couldn’t redeem the drag. I regret not turning it off earlier, this one’s firmly in the never watch again pile.
