In the taut thriller The Shallows, when Nancy (Blake Lively) is surfing on a secluded beach, she finds herself on the feeding ground of a great white shark. Though she is stranded only 200 yards from shore, survival proves to be the ultimate test of wills, requiring all of Nancy's ingenuity, resourcefulness, and fortitude.

Disappointed to say the least. This is a B-rated movie and a mediocre one at that. Asides from Blake Lively the acting is atrociously bad in this film. It can be boring and feels a little long at it's runtime of a measly hour and 24 mins. The shark did look good and the climax with it was satisfying but I was never able to get really invested in this film
