Yes this true story is messed up and terrible, and yes the lead performance, while not flashy and showy, is great potraying a mother trying to keep her family composed. This movie though didn’t make me feel what I think it wanted me to feel. I felt more with the dog than anything else. I also felt the length. It’s well made and a story worth telling, I just this movie was okay though.
