Expecting mother is haunted by self doubt and the doubts of everyone around her as they struggle to reconcile her wild and rebellious youth with the expectations and responsibilities of motherhood. Effectively creepy horror that mixes elements of folk horror with some bone crunching body horror. Builds slowly, but Natalia Solián’s performance is engrossing as is Michelle Garza Cervera’s direction in her debut. Worth checking out.
