Bullet

Bullet
A Jewish junkie is paroled after eight years in prison, and once back on the street, rips off a drug dealer whom he already had a grudge against. The drug dealer hires an enforcer to retaliate, and things quickly escalate out of control. With only two friends to back him up, the junkie prepares for the inevitable showdown.
One of the best depictions of Outer Burrough street life and dysfunctional lower-middle class lifestyle in the mid-90s. Outstanding performances by a proto-resurgent Mickey Rourke and an early Adrian Brody, while the cast is rounded out by amazing film veterans like Ted Levine and a pre-Omar (The Wire) Michael K. Williams. It's a set-up to be a completely gripping street drama with killer casting without having to mention Tupac. Yes, Tupac. A criminally underrated and really outstanding movie all around. Get into it!
