If there was a movie of a “Soft White Underbelly” interviewee this would be it!
Night Always Comes begins as a tedious, almost two-hour-long slog, but it eventually shifts into a more engaging narrative. However, it’s a journey that doesn't lead to a satisfying destination.
The film is a relentless look at someone's dismal life, and while it had some tense moments, it left me with a deeply unsettling feeling—the kind that makes you think, "Life sucks sometimes."
It's a film that will likely resonate with some viewers, but leave others feeling like their time was wasted.
