So this one starts off on the right foot with a Long Cold Open, one of my favorite film flexes. This one just barely hits my arbitrary cutoff at 10:06 when the opening credits start. Then some bubblegum music drops simultaneously with a title card that reads “Fall Break”. This is where I pause the film and think “Oh shit, I downloaded the wrong movie”. I figured out eventually that this was a title change.
Unfortunately, the film kind of drags quite a bit after that. Didn’t care much for the characters or their fall break plans. Thankfully, the film eventually delivers the goods when the body count stacks up. Damn, why you gotta do Sue like that though? 🪝 I kind of felt like Sue should have been screaming much louder than she was. Anyways, good fun in the finale and it’s capped with another bubblegum end credits song.
