There is a solid idea here, even if it does feel a little quiet place rip-offish. It does enough unique things, I just wish it expanded on them and fleshed them out. The movie does things and never explains or tells us what really us going on. The monster design is also a little odd and silly-looking. It's not terrible but it is skippable.
