I’m very judgmental for saying this, but liking this movie means you are ok with a racist sex offender being redeemed because he did his job. This is a major plot point of the movie that bothered me since release and legitimately frustrates me because there are plenty of people who save lives and benefit society, and they don’t ever sexually assault women or racially profile. The messaging in this movie is horrendous and always has been, and is an indictment on the Academy for awarding this garbage.
