The narrative follows J. Robert Oppenheimer, a key figure behind the atomic bomb's creation, a pivotal factor in concluding World War 2. From his time in academia to the aftermath of the war, the story unfolds, depicting how his renown entangled him in complex political situations.

For a slow-burn, artsy-fartsy court drama about Robert Oppenheimer, it was okay (and nice to look at). For a more straightforward narrative about the bomb, its conception, construction, and the events of Los Alamos, though, there are much better (less nice to look at) options to choose from (1989's Day One would be my recommendation).
