A wuxia comedy that perfectly captures Stephen Chow's genius. "Forbidden City Cop" is a hilarious blend of James Bond-style gadgetry and absurd martial arts. Chow plays a royal bodyguard who's a terrible fighter but a "brilliant" inventor, leading to some incredibly creative and laugh-out-loud funny scenes. The humor is silly, the action is over-the-top, and the villains are delightfully weird. It's a fantastic and inventive comedy that showcases why Chow is a legend.
