This is one of those sleeper movies, in my opinion. It has high rewatchability because of the adventure and the characters. I mean, Chris Pine playing a bard — who’d have thought an actor would do well playing a bard? Of all the classes, am I right?! All kidding aside, the chemistry between everyone in this movie was amazing. Michelle Rodriguez was perfect; I don’t have a single complaint about her performance. Pure awesomeness and badassery.
If you’re a fan of D&D the tabletop version, you’ll appreciate this. If you know nothing about the dice game of old, you’ll still appreciate this. It’s just an adventure with a bunch of random people who barely know each other, out to save a girl from a bad guy. And c’mon, man — the freaking pudgy dragon?! I loved him!
