I hate this version. Now, I will say all of these reasons are because the 1996 version was so good. But, I hate the random circus they go in, or maybe that was imaginative, I don't remember and I'm not going to look it up. The new teacher doesn't even have a shot against Ms. Honey. I hate the new actors for Matilda and Ms. Trunchbull, the parents are barely there, and it feels like they have to burst into song every second. I am biased since the 1996 version is better, but I watched this one before that one, so that is no excuse
