Charles Dickens meets the Twilight Zone in this somewhat wordy and preachy film from the Cold War era. Although a bit dated, it still holds up against today's landscape of "me versus we" politics. A must see for Rod Serling fans, history buffs, and political junkies. All others, however, may prefer to stick with Dickens' classic version.
