I think this is my favourite movie of all time and has been since my first watch.
I remember not being able to look away from the first scene.
An epic story spanning a number of years told from a number of perspectives shot and edited beautifully.
This was shot on 16mm film mostly handheld and really makes you feel like you are on the ground as part of the action.
Based on a true story - watch the first 5 minutes and see if it doesn’t captivate you.
I cannot start this movie without finishing it and it’s been that way for decades
