Five high school students from different walks of life endure a Saturday detention under a power-hungry principal. The disparate group includes rebel John, princess Claire, outcast Allison, brainy Brian and Andrew, the jock. Each has a chance to tell his or her story, making the others see them a little differently -- and when the day ends, they question whether school will ever be the same.

So I finally saw this cult classic and I'm afraid it didn't live up to the hype my girlfriend made for this film. I thought the characters were all pretty interesting in its own way, though some did come from backgrounds that were predictable. It was cool that the film all took place in 1 location, but i feel like they didn't fully utilize it. At times I found myself almost bored at the pace it ran. In the end I'm glad I finally saw this, but it's nothing to brag home about!
