Alien amoeba consumes astronauts, zoo animals, and a cactus before deciding to Netflix and chill in Westminster Abbey in this "Blob" precursor from Hammer.
Cool story but like a lot of 50s sci-fi and horror, it has more talking officials and less monster action.
My 2025 mindset also wonders how those poor animals were really treated during production and the octopus they used for closeups of the creature at the end.
