Legit everything I could’ve wanted and more- as someone who’s been keeping up with the games since sister location, I was NOT disappointed😭✨ Matthew and Josh were absolutely made to play William and Mike- and I know because of how intense cringe culture is these days, that this movie might get some mixed reviews, but even the cringy bits were still amazing and if anything just made us giggle a little. I loved all the plot twists, references to the fandom to which I will not spoil👀, the visuals, and the castingggg✨ I grew up watching Matthew in the scooby-do movies and scream, and Josh(🙏😩)in the hunger games. Also as an artist I can really appreciate all the little details that went into the absolutely jaw dropping set and character design- it was just UHHGG amazing. But I think the audience in my theater is what really sold the whole thing for me though. The fnaf fandom has always been such a diverse community, and it was nice to see people of all ages wearing fnaf t-shirts and in cosplays- all cheering and screaming when an iconic line was said, an iconic person/animatronic was showed, or a huge plot twist was revealed. I really felt immersed in the community and couldn’t have asked for anything more- mostly. One thing I wanna LIGHTLY comment on was it sort of lost the game aspect. You know the iconic opening and closing doors, checking the lights, running out of power, and the jumpscares. Also as someone who watches MatPat religiously, I was a little let down by the lack of lore theorized by the community. Even then though, the impact of this movie, the message, and everything else about it outweighs any of my slight disappointment BY FARRRR💗 Overall would 100% recommend to anyone into video games(mascot horror specifically), horror movie fans, and literally anyone else who grew up being the weird kid who wouldn’t shut up about FNAF lore- love love LOVED THIS MOOVVIIEEEE😭💅✨💗
