After returning from a wedding reception, a couple staying in an isolated vacation house receive a knock on the door in the mid-hours of the night. What ensues is a violent invasion by three strangers, their faces hidden behind masks. The couple find themselves in a violent struggle, in which they go beyond what either of them thought capable in order to survive.

The Strangers can be summed up as disappointing. It has a very creepy premise. Some pretty terrifying sequences and an ending that knocks this movie down a complete star. The positives I can give this is the villains are menacing. The sequence with the record skipping and Liv Tyler freaking out in the bed room was the highlight. She’s believable in the role even though she makes bone headed decisions. The beginning is really slow. The husband was really lacking character and at the end of the day this could of been so much more. I’m writing this as I stand outside the theater waiting to watch the sequel. I hear it’s better! 🤞🏼💀🤞🏼
