What a weird Adam Sandler film. It never gets to the ridiculous level his movies get to, but it sure manages to become absurd and convoluted along the way. It loses it's identity and what the film set out to be. It's not awful by any means and it's refreshing to see Sandler and Spade actually trying to make a decent film. It just manages to become meh about half way through the 2nd act and never recovers. I still look forward to the future films Sandler will produce with Netflix.
