The new Blair Witch is a trail I've already hiked on. Sticking to the same beats as the original the only thing new is the larger cast and new technology. Their is a ton of style brought by the director and have to admit a lot of the tech works. I'm disappointed in the director for the high amount of jumpscares that is in this. I loved the use of drone and the headset cameras. It made the found footage more tolerable because it felt organic at times. The glitches became annoying though after the first 10 mins. The actors all give great performances for being mostly unknowns. The film is interesting but hits a lull in the 2nd act. Thankfully that last 20 is a great update on a classic. This isn't by any means ground breaking like the original and think it's safe to wait and see this at home
