Watching Bill & Ted Face the Music felt like catching up with two old friends who never lost their goofy charm, even if their hairlines and destinies have changed.
It’s not as groundbreaking or quotable as Excellent Adventure, but it’s got heart, humor and a surprising dose of optimism that really hit home.
Sure, the plot is a bit chaotic and the final song doesn’t quite live up to the hype.
But the movie knows what it is: a love letter to fans and a reminder that sometimes the most excellent thing you can do is just show up and try.
It’s not perfect.
It’s not as tight or iconic as the first.
But it’s sincere, funny and in a world that often feels way too serious, that’s a gift.
