The Middle is hands down one of the most underrated sitcoms ever made. It perfectly captures the chaos, love, and quirks of everyday family life without ever feeling forced or over the top. The Hecks are hilariously relatable—Frankie’s frazzled optimism, Mike’s dry one-liners, Sue’s unstoppable enthusiasm, Brick’s eccentric genius, and Axl’s lazy charm all balance each other out in the best way.
Unlike a lot of sitcoms, The Middle has a ton of heart. It’s laugh-out-loud funny, but it also sneaks in those warm, touching moments that stick with you long after the episode ends. The writing is sharp, the characters are lovable, and every season feels fresh while staying true to its down-to-earth tone.
If you’ve ever lived in a not-so-perfect household (so basically everyone), you’ll see yourself in this show. Comfort TV at its finest. I’d give it 10 stars if I could!
