I love all the incredibly detailed character work we get in these early episodes. Chelsea’s ability to immediately clock everything and everyone around her makes her glaring blind spot around Rick even more tragic but her connection to Chloe and her dismissal of Saxon is delightful. The three women have the most engaging dynamic of the show out of all three seasons and the slow simmering of their tension is delicious.
