Oppenheimer is easily one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. It’s powerful, intense, and so well-crafted—it completely pulls you into the mind of one of the most important (and complicated) figures in history. The performances are insane, the directing is flawless, and the whole thing just feels big in the best way possible. I recommend it to everyone.
But here’s the thing—you need to know what kind of movie it is. It’s long, like three hours long, and it’s very dialogue-heavy. There’s not a lot of action or big explosive moments (ironically). It’s mainly people in rooms, talking, debating, and thinking.
So if you’re not into slow-burning dramas or movies where the tension comes from conversations instead of chaos, this might not hit the same. But if you’re patient, curious, and love films that make you feel and think, Oppenheimer is absolutely worth your time.
