Now folks, let me tell ya, Dexter: Resurrection is the best TV comeback since somebody found Dale Earnhardt’s lost sunglasses. Dexter wakes up from a ten week nap, dusts hisself off, and heads to New York City to track down his boy. That is about the last place I would go unless I needed a twenty dollar hot dog and a cab ride from a man who hates me on sight.
Michael C. Hall still slices through scenes smoother than grandma’s Ginsu knives off the late night infomercial. Harrison’s drama is messier than a Waffle House at three in the morning. And the villains are creepier than your Uncle Larry’s internet history.
This show has it all. Blood, guts, guilt, and more twists than a possum on a dirt road. Five stars, no question. And if you do not like it, you probably still think CSI Topeka is quality entertainment.
