The Curve
Tim, Chris and Rand are campus roommates. They are not the closest of friends. When it is announced as being usual to get the best possible grades as compensation for the psychic stress of a roommates' suicide, Tim and Chris decide to kill Rand. After Rand's "suicide", his girlfriend Natalie takes her life, too. She was the roommate of Chris' girl Emma. Who's tricking who?

Kind of feel like Matthew Lillard 90’s core is a genre all it’s own. A bunch of Harvard hopeful try to out suicide each other to take advantage of the mythological policy that if your college roommate commits suicide, then you’re automatically given a 4.0 for the semester. It’s a ludicrous premise so of course the 90’s saw multiple films with this exact plot. I definitely had fun watching this, but it is not a very good movie. If you tried to map every character’s motivations and alliances from start to finish, I’m pretty sure they don’t survive the twist upon twist upon twist of that final act. Made me nostalgic for Felicity uncut. That hair is legendary. Bad movie, fun watch.
