Nowhere near as bad as you’ve been lead to believe. It’s a half decent superhero movie, well acted. The issues perhaps come from the fact that the lead, Leto, is just seemingly so universally disliked. He’s actually quite good, and not the usual OTT he tends to bring and which in turn, is a turn off. The score is more than a little inspired by another man/bat movie, and the CGI ranges from excellent to ‘what the hell is that?’ I think the main issue however, is that it gives off origin story vibes for a much more important or well known superhero… which it isn’t. Not an enormous amount happens, but what does, is worth a watch.
