Billy Bob Thornton plays Oil Landman, Tommy Norris, who has to contend with faulty oil rigs, bureaucracy, and drug cartels. The series does a good job with the drama and intrigue that goes on with the oil business and Thornton brings along his likability and polarizing charm. Along for the ride is the ageless beauty Ali Larter who plays Thornton’s crazy ex-wife, Jon Hamm who plays Thornton’ tough as nails boss, and the always sensational Demi Moore.
