Cold Feet

Cold Feet
Follow the lives and loves of a group of thirtysomethings in a heart-warming comic drama as they try to find true love - or at least keep their relationships on track. In this wry and funny look at a generation which is as confused as it is liberated by the choices it faces, will the chill in their feet put out the passion that burns in their hearts?

Series 1 is absolutely incredible and highly recommended. It's realistic but with cartoon elements that allow for it to be forgiven for anything. It still works. It is still relevant.
Series 2 already drops a bit in quality but is still enjoyable enough, Series 3 though is so, so bad.
The original writer had taken a back seat by that point and it really showed. A real slog especially considering the highs of the first series. It made me want to spit at the TV.
Things picked up a bit by Series 4 but the finale in Australia is Home and Away-esque, completely stupid. By that point it had become comfortable being just a 'high-class' soap.
Series 5 was fine. Not too offensive. Good final couple of episodes when something real big happens. Even that felt a little like a wasted opportunity though.
And then Series 6. 13 years later and just aired. Probably the best series after the first if hindered by a few unecessary plot choices but you'll be able to see through that. It deals with meaty topics fairly well and the last episode is solid.
That was Cold Feet.
Watch the first series, read WIkipedia then watch the last series. Enjoy.
