Hocus Pocus 2
Vor 29 Jahren entzündete jemand die schwarzflammige Kerze und erweckte die Sanderson-Schwestern aus dem 17. Jahrhundert wieder zum Leben. Jetzt sind sie auf Rache aus. Diesmal müssen drei Highschool-Schülerinnen die gefräßigen Hexen daran hindern, vor der Morgendämmerung in der Halloween-Nacht neues Unheil über Salem zu bringen.

I don’t have much nostalgia for the original Hocus Pocus. I’m not even entirely certain that I’ve seen all of it. But this was pretty decent. Though seeing Midler, SJP and Najimy was good and they stepped back into their roles, when the film started I was kind of hoping we’d follow the younger versions of them for longer. I have to say though, that as a former Walgreens store manager—this movie was kind of traumatizing.
