The world may have been free of Winifred, Mary, and Sarah and the fear they invoked in us all, but what happens when you mess with magic? It messes back.

I don’t have much nostalgia for the original Hocus Pocus. I’m not even entirely certain that I’ve seen all of it. But this was pretty decent. Though seeing Midler, SJP and Najimy was good and they stepped back into their roles, when the film started I was kind of hoping we’d follow the younger versions of them for longer. I have to say though, that as a former Walgreens store manager—this movie was kind of traumatizing.
