Garage owner Claude has a rat problem. He hires an expert to deal with the problem. The Rat Man is truly an expert in his field to the point of resembling a rat himself. While Claude and his employee are fascinated by his methods they are also quite unsettled by him.

Absolutely Gorgeous Filmmaking.
The Wonderful Story of Martin Sugar and Three More is Wes Anderson at his absolute best.
The Ratcatcher is definitely my favorite of the bunch.
I have always had a love for the bizarre, yet somehow romantic image of the Ratcatcher, since reading about "Jack Black" (Not the actor 😂) in "London Labour and the London poor" in my youth.
The cast all do an incredible job bringing Dahl's story come to life, especially Richard Ayoade's incredibly enjoyable narration.
This is definitely a film I will be rewatching for the rest of my life.
