Nightmare in Badham County
Two UCLA coeds have engine trouble in a small Southern town. When they spurn the local sheriff's advances he arranges for them to be taken to the women's prison on trivial charges (the judge is a cousin), where they must endure atrocities at the hands of the administrators of the prison and the prison guards.

What a quality little underground gem. Nightmare in Badham County is a riveting thriller and one of the best women in prison films I've watched. Rather than just being a low budget sleazefest there's time spent on our leads forming bonds and development to actually care about the characters we're watching. There's a little bit of sleaze too but the entire film is a thrilling plot to escape the hellhole prison labor camp. It's hard not to get into the picture.
