The film, which dives into the rise of the epochal rock group, is the only documentary of its kind that the band themselves have participated in. The documentary includes new interviews with Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones, as well as rare archival interviews with the band's late drummer John Bonham.

Depending on the day, my favorite rock band could either be the Stones, Alice in Chains, or Led Zeppelin. Most days, it's Zeppelin. And most of what they did all happened before I was born...
They're also each more musician than rock star, so having this produced with their cooperation is pretty damn cool. It doesn't contain anything all that revelatory and sticks to the music pretty much entirely, but that isn't a bad thing. The music speaks for itself.
So, as a glimpse at their rise to fame, it's good. Do I wish there was more to it? Absolutely. Matter of fact, when the credits started rolling I was like "that's it"...having no idea it had already been 2 hours. For that reason, I can't fault it for what it isn't.
