This was honestly pretty fun. Some of the 90’s era High School references were pretty humorous. I keep waiting for Angourie Rice to explode into a massive star. She’s great in this as the younger version of Rebel Wilson’s character. I always enjoy Sam Richardson as well as Brandon Scott Jones and both bring their typical comedic charms to their roles, albeit with limited screen time. The recreation of Britney Spears Crazy video was pretty awesome though. Watched with most of the family again and for the second night in a row, my oldest son checked out halfway through. There is quite a bit of inuendo which, as I’ve mentioned before, makes him super uncomfortable. 🤣 He might never sit down to watch a movie with us again. It’s definitely not really appropriate for young kids. Naturally, my youngest son loved it.
