The next-level action spectacle, practical stunts and thrillingly tense chase sequences more than make up for the convoluted character motivations and frustratingly dumb plot contrivances to make this a must see on the big screen. It’s blockbuster filmmaking of the highest order exemplified by the incredible motorcycle stunt featured heavily in the promotional lead up to this film. Really fun time at the theater and you never really feel the extended runtime even if I probably would have preferred it about 20 minutes shorter. So even though there will several times no one had a gun or a mask when one would have come in really handy, I’m all for suspending disbelief in those moments. Plus, I do love a Long Cold Open. 🤩
